AKCA Initiates One of the Largest Trade Cases Filed Against China

On March 6, 2019, the American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance (AKCA) initiated a trade case with the International Trade Commission (ITC) and Department of Commerce (DOC) against China for unfair trade practices in kitchen cabinet and bath vanity production. As a result of these practices, Chinese imports of kitchen cabinets into the United States are up by more than 75 percent since 2015 and threaten our $9.5 billion American industry and the livelihoods of the more than 250,000 American cabinetry industry workers.

With the filing of this petition, the American cabinet industry is saying, "Enough!" to unfair trade and calling on the ITC and Commerce, the Trump Administration, and our Congressional allies to join us in our fight to protect our industry and American workers. Read the full press release here.
